Recruitment Fraud
Recruitment fraud is a type of scam involving fictitious job opportunities and fraudulent communications by persons or institutions claiming to work for Oerlikon with the intention of obtaining money or personal data from applicants.
They often occur through online services including counterfeit websites, social media accounts such as LinkedIn or Facebook, online recruitment sites, text messages or unsolicited emails claiming to be from our company and often use employee names and logos to try to convey authenticity.

Please be vigilant to fraudulent activity and if you are unsure whether a communication that you have received is authentic, there are a number of signs that could suggest a fraudulent communication. Oerlikon will never adopt any of the following practices:

- Request irrelevant personal information such as driver’s license, credit cards, passport and bank account details

- Insist on urgency
- Issue offers of employment in international locations
