We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator Intern for our Westbury NY facility. In this role you will assist the Logistics Coordinator in a variety of office tasks related to shipping, inventory management, and order processing. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in logistics, supply chain, and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be organized, eager to learn, and comfortable with office duties such as filing, scanning, and inventory management.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist with filing and organizing important logistics documents.
• Scan, label, and maintain records for shipping and order-related paperwork.
• Help with office supply inventory management, including restocking printers and office materials.
• Assist in creating shipping documents (under the supervision and review of the Logistics Coordinator).
• Perform light order entry and update tracking information.
• Support the logistics team with ad hoc administrative tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized office environment.

Your Profile

• Currently enrolled in a high school or college program, or recent graduate.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Oerlikon is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position, which is $20 to $25 per hour. Some positions within Oerlikon may also offer eligibility to participate in a discretionary incentive program. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for the role will be based on a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, internal equity, job location, work experience, education, training, certifications, licenses, etc. Therefore, as compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each individual, it is likely that not all applicants will be hired at the highest end of the listed compensation range. Our total compensation package goes beyond base compensation and it will include a competitive benefits package starting with 2 weeks paid time off accrued on a monthly basis, 12 holidays, 48 hours personal/sick time (exception for NY where we follow State law,) medical, dental, vision, 401K, holidays, pet insurance and tuition reimbursement all effective day one of hire (excludes Intern and Temporary roles).
