Treasury Analyst
Duties & Responsibilities
• Trade FX / Interest Rates and Derivatives with internal and external counterparties for hedging purposes
• Update defined reports and liaise with the entities to understand their cash needs, support centralization of the cash
• Apply defined process to determine interest rates for Intercompany financing (maintenance of group companies’ internal credit ratings)
• Monitor and review completeness of monthly/quarterly/annual reporting entries in the Treasury Systems
• Monitor counterparty risk of financial institutions and verify compliance with investment guidelines
• Preparation of various recurring and ad-hoc reports
• Support continuous development and enhancement of the Treasury Management System as well as optimization / automation of processes
• Support strategic projects, ad hoc M&A related Due Diligence and ad-hoc tasks in Treasury
Requirements
• Bachelor / Master's degree in business administration (Finance or Accounting major preferred)
• 2 years’ experience in a Corporate Treasury environment (ideally in an industrial group) or financial industry
• Able to work in an international environment
• Analytical and action-oriented personality
• Ability to work under pressure and keeping tight deadlines
• Good knowledge and understanding of the Financial Markets (in particular FX / FX derivatives)
• Good high-level understanding of Corporate Treasury processes
• Initial accounting know-how and understanding of financial contexts
• Pays attention to detail and delivers results in time and in budget
• Team-oriented and flexible personality
