Quality Inspector
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assure the quality of the product delivered.
- Incoming and Outgoing inspection of parts – Visual and Parameters.
- Sample preparation for metallography evaluation
- Ensure process are inline with standards (QMS,EMS,Internal operation standards).
- Inprocess inspection of the parts.
- Oversee failures and involve in implementation of preventive actions & corrective actions for internal and external complaints.
- Blocking & release of non conforming equipments and parts.
- Follow applicable QMS requirements
- Calibration and inspection of testing equipments.
- Preventive Maintenance of instruments
- Liaison with external agencies for calibration & service
- Communicate plant manager in case of machine troubles/errors.
- Adhere and ensure everyone in the department follows to all safety requirements.
- Involve, suggest and implement HSE ,5S, OOE.
- Working for continous improvement & excellence in performance of function.
- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to the product, process and quality system.
Required education, experience, knowledge
- Diploma/Degree in engineering/ITI.
- 2-5 years’ experience in mechanical/service industry.
- Knowledge of Thermal Spray coating technology recommended .
- Customer oriented approach.
- Open and positive mindset
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications and basic computers.
- Able to operate ERP system
