Quality Engineer
Duties & Responsibilities
- Incoming inspection of Tools/Parts & preparing reports
- Prepare deviation reports & share to customer.
- In-process inspection
- Final inspection for quality parameters and visual inspection
- Assure quality of Product delivered
- Internal daily calibration of quality equipment’s
- Monitor & assist in on time external calibration of quality equipment’s.
- Involve in internal & customer complaint analysis and CAPA implementation.
- Involve in suggestion scheme, quality improvement activities (1-1-1, 3-1 projects) and implement HSE ,5S, OOE & Cost savings projects.
- Ensure process are in line with standards (QMS, EMS, Internal operation standards).
- Inform Quality manager for quality related issues.
- Working & handling shifts for day-to-day quality activities.
- Liaison with external agencies for calibration & service – owner
- Involve in QMS(ISO9001, IATF16949 & AS9100) & EMS(ISO14001) Implementation & Internal audits.
- Adherence and monitor every one in the department follows to all safety requirements
- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to the product, process and quality system.
Required education, experience, knowledge
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical /Automobile Engineering
- Min 5 years of experience in quality function
- Knowledge on QMS(ISO9001/IATF16949) & EMS ISO14001
