Business Introduction:

Oerlikon is headquartered in Switzerland and operates in 22 countries (44 locations) around the world and is a comprehensive manufacturer of surface treatments. The thermal spraying technology of the Oerlikon Metco Division has effects such as wear resistance, corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and hardening (softening), and thermal spraying can dramatically improve the functional surface of the target. It can improve product performance, extend service life, and improve environmental performance.
Oerlikon Metco technology is used in a variety of industries. For example, it is widely used in familiar items such as white goods and frying pans, such as the world's leading sports cars, racing engines such as F1, aircraft jet engines, airframes, turbines for power generation equipment, and semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

We participate in the development of new products and the improvement of production processes by our customers from the early stages, and provide integrated solution support from prototyping to the selection of equipment and materials, as well as the subsequent supply of materials and parts and after-sales service, to support our customers' business expansion and growth opportunities.

The Oerlikon Metco Division has sales, technology development, field service, system engineering, logistics, and administration departments at its Tokyo head office (Nerima-ku), sales, field service, coating services and warehouses at the Nagoya branch, and sales and field service at the Kobe branch. We have a system in place to provide prompt support services to customers in Japan.

Your Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition

• Work with hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop a recruitment strategy.
• Find, acquire, and hire top talent through a variety of channels, including job sites, social media, and employee referrals.
• Conduct document screening and interview with candidates.
• Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and job sites.
• Make recommendations to improve your hiring process and strategy.
• Recruiting temporary employees.

Talent Development

• Promote training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees.
• Work with department heads and managers to develop individual employee development plans.
• Introduce employees to external seminars and workshops to further develop their future career plans.
• Other HR-related duties.

Your Profile Required Skills & Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in recruiting
• HR experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
• More than 5 years of extensive HR experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in human resource development, training, and organizational development
• Work experience in English (required)
