Trade Control Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
Contract:
- Implementation and further development of the global ICP.
- Responsible Key User for the trade control related SAP implementation for OSS China.
- Guide and drive the implementation of the new Chinese Export Control Law, incl. global awareness raising for extra-territorial provisions. (understand the regulation from other country, e.g US/EU)
- Collaborate with internal function teams, including compliance, legal, patent and finance as needed to facilitate and resolve export control and sanctions issues.
- Close cooperation with the global HQ (focus on Group Legal Services, in particular Global Trade Control).
- Monthly project status report update to functional lead.
- Provide miscellaneous trade control support as required.
Miscellaneous:
- -Support local GMs and operative staff re export and sanctions compliance
- -Close cooperation with local legal expert
- -Support and interface with local government trade control rule making and enforcement authorities
- -Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in international trade, law, business or a related field (incl. engineering). Master's degree preferred.
- Experience working in a global supply chain and manufacturing environment considered desirable.
- Min 5 years proven professional experience in a global organization is required
- Additional courses in fields completing the skills under “education” are desirable.
- PC skill (Excel, Word, PPT)
- Excellent English, written and oral, good knowledge of PC-work (MS-Office: Powerpoint, Excel etc.)
