Engineering Operations Support Manager
We are looking for an Engineering Operations Support Manager. In this role you will oversee all maintenance and operations support over the Americas Region. This role involves managing the Service Maintenance process (preventive, predictive maintenance strategy, etc.), dedicated group of Field Services, Expansion team, and Production Technology team. You will also ensure compliance with safety regulations and developing strategic maintenance plans to support the organization’s goals, operations training and production technology team fulfilling the center and business line needs.
Your Responsibilities:
- Team - Oversight responsibility for team expansion, training and production technology supporting on their daily needs to achieve their best performance
- Interact with all levels of the organization across Americas supporting any strategic improvements
- Coordinate and perform technical audits with the Head of Operations
- Facilities Management – Ensure correct utilities are in place for current and future expansion (Gas, Electric, Water, HVAC) and the respective life cycle management of infrastructure
- Maintenance Management - Establish and administer a preventative maintenance program for all equipment within the Americas region.
- Ensure equipment repairs and technical support knowledge is transferred to the Technical Service team
- Asset management – Support equipment optimization, including upgrades, reliability and utilization supporting and guiding to all improvements needs
- Asset utilization improvement – Coordinate efforts to take advantage of best practices, and machine reliability for equipment for all Americas
- Spare parts management – Ensure each factory has the correct spare parts to keep operations running (preventative maintenance, risk management and safety stock)
- Expansion management- Oversee all building improvements and equipment moves/relocation
- Technical training
- Oversee technical, theory, SAP and Orbis training for the service personnel
- Training focus on all production technology and maintenance matters
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Engineering and/or Business Management (experience may substitute)
- 3+ years of experience managing people
- Progressive management responsibility
- 3+ years of experience in construction and/or infrastructure preferred
- Project management experience
- Customer service-oriented skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment- working the production cycles to deliver products on time
