Digital Transformation Specialist
We are looking for a Digital Transformation Specialist. In this role you will ensure that digital initiatives, projects and related technologies as defined by the roadmap for the Americas region are successfully implemented and supported. You will work closely with the global digital teams to develop a detailed understanding of the solutions to be implemented while interacting with multiple levels within the organization and external business partners to coordinate and implement the solutions. You will also coordinate ongoing support of the solutions to enable effective use of the technologies. This will be a hands on role. Furthermore, you will also monitor and report on progress on various initiatives.
Preferred locations: Detroit Metro Area, Chicago Metro Area, Charlotte Metro Area
Your Responsibilities:
- Gain an understanding of the digital roadmap for the region. Serve as a key resource in providing inputs for developing roadmaps
- Collaborate with the global digital team to gain thorough familiarity of the digital technologies and solutions to be implemented per roadmap in order to lead or implement these solutions
- Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders across numerous sites and business units in the Americas region to plan and align on the solutions to be implemented and identify key business users that will participate and partner to implement these solutions
- Coordinate training and or perform training on the digital technologies and solutions
- Facilitate and or execute the implementation of the digital solutions. Key areas are regional sales and operations including equipment connectivity. There will be a major focus on B2B ordering processes
- Raise awareness of process improvements needed
- Gather ideas for new initiatives as well as improvements for solutions implemented and provide feedback to global digital team
- Effectively communicate with our different stakeholders, provide regular updates and build good long term relationship
- Support our global digitalization strategies for businesses and functions
- Play a key role in the fulfillment of digital goals and achievement of related targets, KPIs and or metrics
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Engineering/Computer Science or similar
- Relevant solid experience B2B ordering processes and related technical aspects, ideally in the B2B integration environment (data mapping, ETL, B2B file formats)
- Great project implementation skills, experience to manage project work with diverse and scattered teams with very diverse background in cross-cultural business environment
- Strong familiarity with various digital technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, IoT, RPA, digital twin, etc.
- Experience leading or managing projects
- Exposure to ERP, CRM, and MES applications will be beneficial.
- Willingness to travel if required
