Senior Accountant 
 

We are looking for a Sr. Accountant for our Queretaro facility. In this role you will coordinate the general accounting activities ensuring that company financial statements meet local and corporate accounting standards (IFRS). You will assure proper calculation of direct and indirect taxes and full compliance with fiscal regulations and requirements. You will support and give guidance for Accounting, Fiscal, Taxes and Reporting in Mexico while maintaining internal controls and corporate procedures.

Your Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements (statutory and reporting) in order to ensure that they reflect the company financial position
• Develop and analyze the key financial indicators of the company, driving the company to achieve the goals
• Assure proper calculation of direct and indirect taxes, including compliance with all fiscal accessories information and requirements
• Preparation of Income tax return, VAT, Withholding, Dim Appendix 9, Transfer Pricing, etc.
• Control financial areas such as Accounting, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Fiscal and Taxes and Reporting
• Experience in attending internal and external audit and tax inspection/auditing
• Maintenance of Fiscal chart of account included cost center structure
• Assistance in ICS system implementation and updated and company best practices

Your Profile:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Economics or Administration
• Post graduation in Taxes preferred
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting and Mexican Taxes area
• Action-oriented leader with a strong track record of performance within a large, multi-site, international environment at a leadership level (interfacing with US and/or European entities) highly preferred 
• Fluency in English is required 
• Availability for national trips
• Experience working with SAP and advanced MS Excel required 
• Experience with internal and external auditing, Tax inspections and Internal Control Systems
