We are looking for a Quality Engineer for our Querétaro (Parque Industrial Aeropuerto) facility. In this role you will provide leadership and a hand to problem solving to ensure customers are fully satisfied with the company’s service. The Quality Engineer will report to the regional Quality Manager and maintain the quality system within the BMX coating center (Automotive).

Your Responsibilities:

• Receiving/Final Inspection in the quality laboratory.
• Transfer data to Guardus software to create material certificate reports.
• Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly gauges calibration/verification.
• Apply and Maintain Document control for Qlab WI's.
• Apply and Maintain 5S methodology.
• Daily report on defected parts.
• Monthly Process Capability Analysis.
• Yearly MSA (Measurement System Analysis).
• Performs product and process audits under VDA Standard , support internal and external system audits under IATF 16949:2016 Standard.
• Create and submit deviations for quality isssues. Handle effectively customer quality concerns.
• Use problem solving tools and metodologies as 5 Why's analysis and Fish bone to perform root causes analysis
• Create 8D reports.
• Participate and support monthly review meeting of  FMEA and Control Plans. Prepare and submit PPAP's documentation.
• Training personnel from all departments in quality system requirements, processes and procedures as required.

Your Profile:

• Minimum 4 years degree in Quality, Engineering or related disciplines.
• Prooven experience with Quality Core Tools.
• 2+ years of experience in a quality, engineering role within a manufacturing and/or production environment.
• 2+years of experience implemeting and executing ISO9001:2016 and/or IATF16949:2016
• Advanced English is a must.
• Knowledge of certification for ISO 9001:2016 and/or IATF 16949:2016.
• Knowledge of certification for Qualtiy Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP).
• Knowledge of certification for Visual Inspection.
• Knowledge of certification to perfrom Audits under ISO Standard.
• Effective verbal, written and presentation skills. Computer proficiency to include Windows, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Strong familiarity with various inspection equipment.
• Ability to effectively use problem-solving tools and methodologies.
