Jr. Purchasing 
 

We are looking for a Jr. Purchasing for our Queretaro facility. In this role you will:

• Responsible for purchasing operation for the USA locations guided by manager.
   

• Receive RFP from users, make needs assessment and clarify any doubt regarding specifications with user.
   

• Review information about vendors, GL accounts and cost center codes related to the PR.
   

• Place purchase orders for goods and services for DM & IM from preferred local and global vendors.
   

• Follow up deliveries and vendor’s performance.
   

• Analyze market and get quotations from optional suppliers.
   

• Support Category Purchasers on getting local options.
   

• Registration of savings based on the negotiated agreements.
   

• Responsible of placing annual orders and negotiated commercial terms and deliveries for the USA locations (as group) to assure better costs and deliveries.
   

• Make market analysis, handle vendor’s portfolio on local basis, main contact for vendor’s relationships, data collection, negotiations with suppliers.
   

• Report vendor’s performance.
   

• Report savings. Contract administration.
   

• Set up and develop of new vendors in the USA and worldwide.
   

• Keep supplier’s files documentation updated according to global requirements.
   

• Follow up Global process, implement at local level.
   

• Logistics Planning for orders and services based on the general courier and forwarding regulations, in conformity with the vendor´s Incoterms.
   

• Responsible for completing the supply chain since the PR until it´s final arrival, including the follow up of the order and follow up with the users related to goods receipt in SAP.
   

• Backup for MX purchaser.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree on Bussiness Administration, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. International Commerce Admin carreer.
   

• Office: Advanced.
   

• English 90% minimum (spoken, written & understanding).
   

• Experience at least 1/1.5 years as a Jr. Purchaser on Automotive or Aerospace industry preferred. Experience on ERPs systems and materials handling, including SAP P2P & Warehouse Module (Mandatory).
   

• Good interpersonal relationships, proactive, self-motivated, team player, sense of service, disciplined, analytical.
   

• Capable to travel and should have passport and USA valid Visa.
