We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator for our Plymouth, MI facility. This role Receives, verifies, and processes incoming shipments. Packs and prepares products for shipping from the plant. Coordinates with shipping companies to ensure timely pickups and deliveries while adhering to all safety and compliance regulations. Maintains organization of the warehouse where raw materials and finished goods are stored.

Your Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to receive, ship, load, unload, move and store products and materials in a safe manner that assures material will be safe from damage and accurately accounted for.  
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
• Maintains the organization of raw/finished goods in the warehouse. Assists in quarterly/yearly inventory counts.
• Performs other duties as assigned that would lead to successful operation of department, team and/or mission.

Your Profile:

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum 3 years of Material Handling/Warehouse Associate experience involving picking, packing and put away of materials in production operations.
• General computer skills (Windows, Internet, Office) with preferences given to those candidates with previous experience working in SAP.
• Conform to ISO and other internal/external regulations.

• High attention to detail.

• Preference will be given to candidates who have experience operating a forklift, available to work overtime hours during the busier times of the year and able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
• Knowledge equivalent to high school, industrial or trade training. Must be able to read and understand instructions in English.
