Operator Grinding
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform grinding of thermally sprayed insulation bearings as per drawings and customer specifications.
- Operate grinding machines and conduct machine setup, wheel dressing and balancing.
- Verify coating thickness and dimensions before and after grinding.
- Implement and follow all HSE and Quality instructions in operations
- Maintain hygiene, 6 S and house-keeping in production area
- Assist shift leader in daily production activities
- Handling and Cleaning of substrates
- Fixturing and de-fixturing
- Support application development for new components
- Update and Maintain documents and records for production, HSE and Quality.
Required education, experience, knowledge
- ITI/Diploma Mechanical. 2-5 years grinding experience.
- Knowledge of drawings, GD&T, measuring instruments, thermal spray finishing processes, HSE and quality systems.
- Basic understanding of HSE and Quality systems
- Good communication skills
- High laerning agility
- High Drive for results
- Good team player with ability to maintain peer relations
