Quality Coordinator 
 

We are looking for a Quality Coordinator for our Murfreesboro, TN facility. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining a positive customer relationship and experience for the outputs of the coating process and maintaining the Quality Management System. You are the voice of the customer to the Coating Center.

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintain QMS under ISO 9001 standard within the plant
• Provide product quality analysis via various testing methodologies. Support material review and disposition of non-conforming products
• Drive corrective and preventive actions using KPI inputs with a focus on effective root-cause analysis to avoid recurrence
• Support quality planning for new process/customers
• Manage Quality System documentation, gauge inventory, audits, reporting of quality system status/key process indicators

• Train production personnel in quality system requirements, processes, and procedures as required
• Daily customer interaction regarding order expedites or changes as needed
• Proactive notification on cases of delayed deliveries
• Effective problem solving with the center
• Coordination of activities with personnel outside the center with the Oerlikon locations/entities
• Other duties as may be assigned or required 

Your Profile:

• Technical Degree in Quality, Manufacturing, or a related discipline or equivalent experience
• Background in Material Science with basic understanding of composition
• Professional certification (ASQ or similar) in relevant quality disciplines
• Well versed in ISO 9001:2015 QMS requirements
• Experience in LEAN strategies to support and drive continuous improvement
