Manufacturing Manager
We are looking for a Manufacturing Manager for our Mequon facility. In this role you will oversee product manufacturing through a team of production team or group leaders. In coordination with HSE, maintenance, engineering and quality departments the Manufacturing Manager is responsible for achieving optimum labor with the least amount of overhead and raw material costs while delivering product on schedule and with the highest safety and quality standards. Focus is on safety, customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, continuous improvement and employee growth.
Your Responsibilities:
- Advises plant team or group leaders on labor issues including safety, security, employee relations, scheduling, training, grievances and the line. Manages compliance with state and federal regulations. Ensures direct reports, including plant team or group leaders are adhering to company policies and administering practices in a fair and equitable manner.
- Regularly holds departmental communication meetings to ensure high level of communication and understanding among the entire hourly manufacturing workforce.
- Participates and provides extensive support with physical inventories and maintains cycle counts to ensure minimal inventory loss within manufacturing.
- Responsible to ensure all associates in the departments are trained as necessary and said training is well documented. Develops potential among employees to ensure employee growth plans are established and progressive.
- Assists with the advancement of SAP system to ensure continuous improvement efforts and projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensures robust corrective action processes are followed to fix areas of concern and holds team accountable for deviations and drives for completion of robust corrections.
- Develops, monitors and reports on operating costs within functional areas. Formulates and recommend manufacturing policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation.

- Must participate in annual training to update and document job related skills as applicable to the position.
- Must conform to current health, environmental, and safety standards.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations/Business Management, or alternative degree. With extensive relevant experience, the educational requirement may be waived.
- 5+ years previous manufacturing management experience, preferably in a process-oriented operations and/or related industry.
- ISO/TS and automotive experience preferred, work with manufacturing based technology, processes and principles highly suggested.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strategic, systematic thinker, problem solver
- Proficient using MS Office (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is preferred
- Bilingual - Spanish speaking preferred
