The OOE Project Manager is responsible for the implementation of all Operational Excellence programs in the Oerlikon facilities. In addition, he coordinates, monitors and, if necessary, corrects all HSE-relevant processes and actively supports the managers and their teams within the branches in complying with safety-related tasks.
Your responsibilities
- Collaborate with the regional Oerlikon Operational Excellence team and programme.
- Ensure management buy-in in the countries
- Define needed trainings and workshops for individuals and countries in collaboration with Global Head of Operational Excellence and the Country Management.
- Maintaining the country network and setting and distributing targets.
- Define required training and workshops for individuals and countries in collaboration with regional OOE leader and country management
- Ensuring regional OOE reporting
- Maintain Lean toolbox together with Global Head of Operational Excellence.
- Support and initiate regional and larger local projects, conduct workshops
- Supporting the definition of the strategic initiatives for Regions and align with Global Head of Operational Excellence.
- Deploy and run WS from the OOE Tools box.
- Represent OOE Organization in Operations Digitalization’s projects.
- Operational Excellence training & Coaching for local operations management
- Support for OOE KC Coordinators
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher education background in Business Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other engineering fields
- Knowledge in Lean and/or Operations leadership position experience in an international industrial environment
- Project Management experience and proven track record of Lean projects
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Expert from recognized institut/ not mandatory
- Fluent in written and spoken English is a must (other language is beneficial)
- Strategic thinking & business acumen, good analytical skills and structured way of working
- High level of communication skills in international environment with multicultural empathy and diplomacy
- Highly self-motivated and resilient, authentic, service-oriented and hands-on personality
- Ability to travel up to 50% - 70%
