Technician - 2nd Shift
Oerlikon Balzers Canada is seeking an energetic and detail oriented production worker to join our team in our state of the art centre in Guelph, Ontario. The Technician pre-treats a variety of customer products using standardized procedures in preparation for coating. The position requires analytical thinking to oversee and assemble chamber loads based on customer specifications. This is a 2nd Shift position from 3p-11:30p.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform daily changeover maintenance of pre/post treatment equipment;
- Oversee and assemble chamber loads based on standard procedures and customer specifications;
- Disassembling and reconfiguring the chamber for subsequent loads;
- Continuous visual inspection and handling of customer product with the highest level of care.
- Work with the Quality Coordinator to identify and address quality concerns.
Your Profile:
- Hands on
- Experience in a manufacturing environment;
- Experience in a production environment;
- Ability to work with hands and be able lift 30 lbs.
This is a permanent position. Occasional overtime may be required.
