Communications Generalist (gn) - Temporary 80% 
 

 

We are looking for a Communications Generalist 80% (gn) to join our team in Garching (near Munich). This is a temporary position for 6 months, with the option of extension.

In this dynamic and collaborative role, you will support internal and external communication initiatives to ensure clear, consistent and effective messaging across the organization. Your Responsibilities

 

  • Support internal communication campaigns and initiatives
  • Manage the internal communications channels, including the intranet
  • Contribute to external communication efforts, including drafting press releases, website content and social media posts
  • Create and edit content for internal and external channels
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure message alignment
  • Assist in organizing and executing internal and external events
  • Help maintain content calendars and editorial plans
  • Support the measurement and reporting of communication effectiveness
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed

 

Your Profile

 

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations or a related field
  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in communications, with exposure to both internal and external topics
  • Technical skills: Experience in content creation and campaign support, familiarity with digital communication platforms and tools
  • Language Skills: Fluent written and spoken English and German, other languages are a plus
