QESH Manager
We are looking for a QESH (Quality, Environment, Health and Safety) Manager to work at our Dukinfield Site. This exciting role is responsible for developing and maintaining Quality, Trade Control, Health and Safety and environment standards within the business. You will also undertake business planning, business continuity and continuous improvement activities. You will also be accountable for resolving customer related quality issues.

Your Responsibilities
- Have authority as the ISO Management Representative
- Development, implementation and maintenance/upkeep of manuals, procedures and work/technical instructions for the business relating to ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO50001 and HSE
- Assisting with maintaining safe working conditions and leading Health & Safety Committee. Documenting all the COSHH assessments and risk assessments in line with current legislation and corporate directives.
- Ensuring all the necessary systems, processes, controls and reports are in place and maintained.
- Coordinating and reporting Customer Complaints
- Liaising with the certification body ensuring all the necessary data is available. This includes auditing data and documentation that are essential to maintain existing registration
- Conduct internal and Second Part audits. Oversee external and customer audit activities
- Analysing and producing Quality/Business Excellence data KPI’s with the objective of achieving continuous improvement .
- Implementing training solutions and monitoring the effectiveness of training reviews.
- Observation and implementation of 5S methodologies as part of the daily routine..
- Local Trade Control Manager responsibilities.
Your Profile
- Experience of a similar role in a similar environment
- Ideally quality related qualification or CQI membership
- ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering discipline
- IRCA Lead Auditing/internal auditing
- Understanding of EFQM, Lean, Safety, Quality Systems (including AS9100, ISO13485, Nadcap, etc)
- Experience of working with problem solving techniques such as Lean/Six sigma/ Fishbone, 8D
- Experience of working with QMS systems
- Understanding of surface treatments would be ideal.
- Commercial and strategic awareness.
