Repsonibilities

 

  • Supervise and develop the operational execution of the finished goods warehouse processes.
  • Responsible for the prompt, efficient, accurate and timely execution of the deliveries in accordance with delivery plan and individual shipping requests and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure efficient day-to-day delivery execution in SAP and in related customer order / freight management portals.
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing goods flow, stock levels, stock movements, clarify and correct the causes of stock discrepancies.
  • Ensure adherence to all internal and external documentation (e.g.: invoices, packing lists, any other additional transport related documents), packaging and labelling requirements related to all deliveries made by Oerlikon.
  • Manage the work of subordinates, develop their skills and actively participate in performance appraisals
  • Maintain close liaison with customs, co-departments (production, quality, purchasing), freight forwarders and suppliers as required.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest customer packaging and delivery requirements.
  • Actively lead & participate in the management of the annual and interim stocktaking activities and in the development of the inventory management processes.
  • Prepare, present and monitor KPIs, reports and analyses related to the operation of the shipping warehouse.
  • Organize operational execution of waste management and hazardous materials management activities related to the company's operations, perform or support relevant external and internal reporting tasks, liaise with external authorities and suppliers as necessary

Expectations

  • Min secondary education (high school degree),
  • Min. 2-3 years’ experience in similar position (shift leader in finished goods warehouse or logistics / supply chain coordinator role)
  • Should be able to multi-task, prioritize and handle quick-turn projects
  • Working knowledge in warehousing, transportation management
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • Good English knowledge (written & spoken)
  • Forklift driving knowledge is an advantage (3312,3313, 3324)
  • Competent with the Microsoft office packages
