
Machining Process Engineer (CNC Machining)
We are expanding our aerospace engineering team with Machining Process Engineer!
Responsibilities
- Determines all critical factors of technical feasibility.
- Manage machining processes (milling and optionally grinding)
- Provides input to the manufacturing engineer for cost calculations
- Helps define machining tool requirements (Design, test production, maintenance)
- Perform testing for cycle time reduction, tool lifetime extension, new tool implementation
- Creates all internal procedures and relevant documents necessary for the proper conduct of technical processes.
- Management of all media containing data on the product.
- Cooperate with the Maintenance Engineer to define and manage machine maintenance instructions.
- Defines the expectations – technical parameters for the necessary new equipment.
- Obliged to perform other tasks if necessary.
- You must communicate with your employees, managers, company customers and others in a polite and professional manner.
- Working in accordance with safety regulations and using the prescribed safety equipment.
Requirements
- BSc degree in a technical field or 3–5 years of hands-on experience with responsibility in a continuous manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- 3–5 years of engineering experience in metal industry / mechanical manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of production and machining processes
- Unigraphics NX / Solid Edge / Solidworks 2D – 3D drawing skills (CAD / CAM)
- 5 axis machining program skill (ISO-G code)
- Native-level Hungarian, and confident English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Automotive, aerospace, or quality experience is an advantage
- Independent, precise working style, proactive mindset, willingness to learn, patience is an advantage
