Oerlikon Eldim (HU) Kft. – Part of Oerlikon –manufactures and processes parts for aerospace and industrial gas turbine components. Eldim uses modern production technologies like EDM, Vacuum brazing, 5-axis machining grinding, milling and turning. The Eldim group has three locations: Eldim Lomm (NL), Eldim Debrecen (HU) and Neomet (UK).

 What are you going to do?

As Junior Account Manager you support the Key Account Managers and carry the responsibility for some smaller customer accounts. The support will contain amongst others preparation of quotations, price adjustments, market data analysis, managing commercial issues etc.

The small  accounts that you will manage  are international players in the aircraft engine and industrial gas turbine industries.

You will establish an account plan and will be responsible for realizing the sales and other targets to fill the pipeline and realize the further growth of Eldim.

Your goal is to build up and maintain a long-time relationship with existing customers and to develop new business at existing and new accounts. You give substance to the customers partnership. You participate in each step of the commercial process, in order to get the maximum out of the extraordinary market position (being a qualified supplier in a relatively small market, giving the customer relationship an above average importance).

 A continuous balancing of various aspects, discussions and resourcefulness towards customer approach is needed. You can count on the support of the support of the Oerlikon Eldim sales team for guidance, advice, coaching, etc.

 

Other responsibilities

  • You create and maintain a contact network with key people at various departments of the customer. You will gain knowledge of your customers inside and out.
  • Naturally you will visit relations/contacts and (potential) customers. You will inform and convince the customer about the best proposal Oerlikon can make to bring value to the customer whilst optimizing margin for Oerlikon.
  • Your purpose is to close orders, so you will consult, negotiate, and issue quotations and make contracts supported by Oerlikon legal counsel and sales team.
  • During the entire process you are the main point of contact, from order acceptance until after the final delivery. You act as the customer voice inside Oerlikon.
  • You are responsible for agreements with customers in relation to volumes, specifications, terms, and conditions as well as prices within agreed limits.
  • You make sure that internal communication about possibilities, assignments, progress, complaints, and bottlenecks is going well.
  • You improve the sales conditions and predictability of future revenues.
  • You control administration, maintain focus on legal issues as well as other terms of agreement/regulations/conditions.
  • Together with your colleagues you will organize and take part in promotional activities such as exhibitions. Also, you will visit exhibitions as well as other professional meetings.
  • Because of your professional attitude you will constantly gain knowledge of the specific business.
  • You feed management with market intelligence including trends, pricing, market-situation etc

 

Who is Oerlikon Eldim looking for?

 

  • You have a Bachelor preferably in a technical or commercial field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an international environment in the field of Aerospace, Automotive or similar industry. (Sales, Product-management, Development, NPI etc.)
  • You get motivated by interacting with various nationalities (globally), both towards customers as inside Oerlikon Eldim.
  • You are proficient in the English language, both spoken and written. A second language (German, French or Spanish) would be advantageous.
  • You master Microsoft Excel, Word and other Office tools
  • You are a result-oriented and communicative team player with international scope.
  • You are commercial, analytical, creative and solution oriented.
  • You are pro-active, energetic, and conceptual with a hands-on mindset.
  • International travel is a requirement for this function.
