Operations Manager
The Incumbent is responsible for the managing the entire operations of the coating center. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe running of the center, maintaining high-quality standards, optimizing production processes, managing maintenance activities, and fostering a positive work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe and legal working environment.
- Adhering to company policies, apply HSE standard to ensure 0 MTA and 0 LTA.
- Ensure all products meet the company’s, ISO and customer quality standards.
- Implement, monitor quality assurance & quality control procedures to address any issues promptly & effectively.
- Oversee daily operations to meet customer targets & deadlines.
- Optimize operation schedules to maximize efficiency and manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
- Monitor operational metrics and implement continuous improvement processes to improve performance.
- Overseeing inventory, cost and distribution of goods
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs (TPM) for all equipment’s & facilities.
- Monitor key performance indicators and report on progress.
- Train, monitor & evaluate team members, optimize trainings to attract, retain & develop high potential talents.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations Management or a related fields
- Minimum of 10 years in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in an international company
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing management position with direct production, maintenance and quality responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of legal and safety regulations
- strong knowledge in world class manufacturing standards incl. ISO, KAIZEN, 5S, 6 Sigma, TPM, etc.
- Understand & implement procedures that relate to the role & responsibilities of the Operations Manager.
- Good organizational culture development skills that foster continuous improvement.
