
Engineer - Maintenance
Duties & Responsibilities
- To ensure safe working conditions for all machines.
- Documenting, evaluating, and improving maintenance activities.
- To continually improve the effectiveness and efficiency of production equipment.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Handle all day‑to‑day activities related to machine maintenance.
- Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance for all machines.
- Ensure the availability of critical spares through effective coordination with the Materials Department.
- Coordinate with vendors for all planned maintenance activities.
- Ensure that all vendor agreements are in place.
- Maintain the transformer as per the Transformer Maintenance Procedures.
- Adhere to the maintenance plan for all machines and utilities, i.e., DG sets, compressors, STP, fire hydrant, and HVAC.
- Report any breakdown in STP operation immediately to the Maintenance Manager.
- Resolve issues during STP operation and ensure smooth running.
- Maintain a checklist for STP and update it regularly.
- Review and update the Aspect/HIRA study for machine and STP operation and maintenance.
- Implement operational controls based on the studies conducted for both HSE.
- During STP maintenance, maintain appropriate controls such as the work‑permit system.
- Monitor, measure, and analyze maintenance process parameters and ensure they remain within the target limits.
- Evaluate actions taken when process parameters are not achieved and monitor their effectiveness.
- Comply with safety regulations and use appropriate PPE in all respective areas.
Required education, experience, knowledge
- Diploma and BE in Electrical and Mechanical
- Experience minimum 5 years.
