Business Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled and commercially driven Data / Business Analyst to join our Shared Services Center (SSC) in Warsaw part of Global manufacturing organisation. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical capabilities with a solid understanding of finance and business operations.
We are looking for a commercially minded professional who combines finance expertise with strong data analytics skills. This role focuses on cost efficiency, financial transparency, and decision support across a global manufacturing organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in transforming financial and operational data into meaningful insights, supporting strategic decision-making across a global manufacturing organization.
Your Responsibilities
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the finance and operations areas inventory and working capital impacts
- Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable business insights and narratives for stakeholders and decision makers
- Partner with finance, controlling, and business teams to support decision-making and performance management
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor business performance
- Work with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Navision) to extract and validate data
- Support budgeting, forecasting, transparency strategic projects and financial planning processes
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across systems
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the SSC and wider finance organization
- Collaborate with international stakeholders in a global, matrix organization
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related fie
- 3–7+ years of experience in a data analyst / business analyst / finance analyst role
- Strong experience working with ERP systems, particularly SAP ERP; familiarity with Navision (Microsoft Dynamics NAV) is an advantage
- Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Solid understanding of financial processes (e.g., P&L, budgeting, forecasting, cost controlling)
- Proven ability to translate data into business insights and recommendations
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand commercial drivers
- Ability to “tell the story behind the numbers” and influence stakeholders
- High attention to detail combined with a big-picture mindset
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently
- Experience in a global manufacturing or corporate environment is highly preferred
- Experience working in Swiss-based or similarly structured international organizations is a plus
- Exposure to global manufacturing business models and cost structures
- English: Fluent (minimum C1 level) – mandatory
- German: Nice to have not a must
