Senior In-House SAP Consultant PTP
We are looking for an experienced Senior In-House SAP PTP Consultant to join our team in Italy, in Brugherio (MB) with strong functional expertise in Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM), and solid ABAP skills. The new colleague will be responsible for supporting and leading solution design, as well as managing implementations within Procure-to-Pay (PTP) processes across Procurement, Warehousing, and Inventory management. He/She will work closely with business stakeholders (such as Procurement Representatives, Purchasing Leads, and Global Key Users) as well as external partners to define and document business processes and system requirements.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement SAP Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM) processes based on business requirements.
- Analyze business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into functional specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP Streams (e.g., OTC, DTS, FTM).
- Conduct workshops, blueprinting sessions, system demonstrations, and user training.
- Validate custom developments, support minor technical corrections, as needed to meet business requirements.
- Debug and analyze SAP MM/WM processes to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with ABAP developers on enhancements, reports, BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, and interfaces.
- Provide end-to-end project support from blueprinting, configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), and cutover.
- Analyzes and defines solutions within Incidents and Change Requests.
- Review and refine requirements, specifications, business processes, and solution proposals.
- Develop functional and system design specifications.
- Takes responsibilities in the 2nd and 3rd level support.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM and WM functional areas.
- At least 2+ years of ABAP exposure (debugging, reports, or minor enhancements).
- Strong expertise in SAP PTP (Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Master, Vendor Master) and WM (WM1/WM2 configuration, warehouse structure, putaway/picking, batch management).
- Good ABAP skills: debugging, understanding enhancements, BAPIs, BADIs, and reports.
- Exposure to S/4HANA MM/WM processes (good to have).
- Experience in full lifecycle SAP implementations is preferred.
- Excellent English language skills.
- SAP certification in MM, WM, or S/4HANA is a plus.
