Senior BI Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Power BI Specialist who will be based in our Brugherio (MB) offices, with a hybrid work model.
Your Responsibilities
- Build advanced dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI to support business decision-making.
- Connect, transform, and model data from multiple sources (MS Fabric, SQL databases, APIs, cloud services) ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Implement best practices for DAX queries, data modeling, and report performance tuning.
- Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable BI solutions.
- Apply row-level security, manage workspaces, and ensure compliance with data governance policies.
- Maintain clear documentation for data models, processes, and BI architecture; enforce development standards.
- Guide junior developers and power users contribute to knowledge sharing within the company.
- Stay updated on Power BI features and recommend enhancements to existing solutions.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology or similar.
- Proven track record of at least 8 years of work experience in roles related to BI reporting and analytics, with at least 6 years of experience in Power BI.
- Experienced in multinational and geographically distributed work environments.
- Certification in Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Gateway.
- Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling principles.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases; familiarity with ETL processes.
- Understanding of data warehousing, star/snowflake schemas, and data architecture.
- Ability to interpret complex business requirements and translate them into efficient BI solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
