Automation Engineer (gn)

Your role in our team
- Development and maintenance of software solutions: You will create and optimize visualization and control software for our state-of-the-art systems such as PVD, CVD, DVCS as well as nitriding and plasma nitriding systems.
- Design and implementation of control logics: You will design and implement control logics that make our automation processes more efficient and powerful.
- System integration: You integrate software and hardware components seamlessly into existing automation systems and ensure they function smoothly.
- Optimization and troubleshooting: You are responsible for error analysis, continuous optimization and improvement of our automation software.
- Teamwork: Working closely with colleagues, you will develop comprehensive automation solutions that meet the highest standards.
- Support during commissioning: You will support the commissioning of automation systems directly at the customer's site and ensure their proper functioning.
- Additional support: If required, you will work in other areas such as documentation and after sales in order to provide comprehensive support for the success of the projects.
Your profile
- Professional qualifications: You have a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation technology or specific training as an electrician with appropriate software certificates.
- Programming skills: You have good knowledge of web-based programming, especially JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Also knowledge in automatic-testing.
- Automation know-how: You have experience in automation with real-time controllers according to IEC 61131-3 (e.g. TwinCAT2/3).
- Certification: Certification as a qualified electrician according to the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU is an advantage.
- Technical understanding: you have a sound understanding of industrial automation processes and control technology.
- Working style: You are characterized by a solution-oriented, independent and structured way of working and are a real team player.
- Willingness to travel: you are willing to travel occasionally for projects in Germany and world wide.
- Language skills: You are business fluent in German and English.
