You have a proven track record in leading a productive plant, ideally in the powder production and looking for a new challenge? Then we are looking for you as our future “Plant Manager (gn)” at our site in Barchfeld.
Your responsibility
- Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility for plant’s business results including leadership of approx. 100 FTE
- Implementing the corporate strategy
- Further development of the local Leadership Team
- Overseeing effectiveness of overall operations for all aspects of the Site including production, maintenance, technology and other manufacturing / unit’s functions.
- Ensuring highest possible availability of production facilities including orders being processed on schedule according to predefined guidelines of the process specification with the lowest possible personnel deployment
- Realization of optimal utilization and capacity of the plant and provision of the required resources
- Representing the site in the business strategy development and goal setting process.
- Conducting annual and long-term Budget planning for site including 5-year infrastructure plans
- Actively supporting the continuous improvement of quality management systems in order to maintain industry certifications, as well as drive a continuous improvement mindset to meet customer needs.
- Cultivating culture of integrity, responsibility and operational excellence across the site
- Building high-performing teams by driving site employee development process and ensuring site people succession planning meets future skill requirements.
- Sponsoring and Championing onsite Diversity, Equity & Inclusion networks; values and leverages differences in people
- Cooperative collaboration with key departments such as maintenance, QA, sales and other plants
- Exchange of information between order processing, manufacturing, maintenance and other key functions of the plant
Your skillset, experiences & personality
- Degree in Material Sciences, Chemistry or Management
- Several years of management experience, especially in plant management of a manufacturing company, ideally in powder manufacturing
- Expertise in inorganic and metal powder manufacturing is desired
- Goal-oriented and strong implementation leadership personality with outstanding conceptual skills
- High customer orientation and negotiation skills with outstanding communication skills
- Excellent German is a must, good English skills required
