Lab Intern for Forming Tools Applications (gn) 
 

 

In this role, you will support the Forming Tools application lab optimizing testing conditions for the plastic injection molding application. The position is located in Balzers, Liechtenstein. It is possible to do a Bachelor/Master thesis during the internship. Start upon agreement for at least 6 months up to 1 year. Workload 60% to 100%.

 

 

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Develop experience in operating a plastic injection molding machine
  • Develop and document application tests procedures on injection molding machine
  • Interact and develop test programs with key supplier for programs and sensor installation on Arburg machine to develop the injection mold for testing
  • Time permitting support other testing rigs for Metal forming tools in Forming Tools application lab
  • Document key projects and work instructions for future reference

 

 

Your Profile

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Production Engineering or Chemical Engineering (current enrollment is required – only students)
  • Previous experience in the field plastic injection molding is a plus
  • Toolmaking experience is a plus
  • Production machine experience is a plus
