Business Development Manager (Northeast)
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Hunter to join our team in the Northeast USA Region. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a passion for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities. This role is focused on driving sales growth by proactively pursuing new clients and expanding our customer base, rather than maintaining existing accounts. Territory States include: New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware & Maryland
Your Responsibilities:
- Identify and Prospect New Clients: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and develop a target list. Use various methods (cold calling, networking, social media) to reach out to potential customers
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share
- Lead Generation: Generate and qualify leads to build a robust sales pipeline
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
- Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and close sales agreements with new clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term partnerships
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target companies
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to identify new business opportunities
- Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecast to management regularly
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute lead generation campaigns and promotional activities
Your Profile:
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience as a Sales Hunter or in a similar role focused on new business acquisition
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong ability to build and maintain relationships
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Results-Oriented: Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Self-Motivated: Highly self-driven with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads and sales activities
- Travel: Must be willing to travel overnight a minimum of 15%
