
Engineer Quality
Duties & Responsibilities
- Update Quality Issues in daily Production Meeting and drive, support for actions
- Analysis of Customer & Internal Complaint along with CFT
- Raise Q alerts and conduct Q moments for Quality Issues
- Deviation Request, Rework, Scrap, Warranty Order Punching On-Time
- Actively participate in Sampling & Testing for Q inspections
- Generate and share Q inspection reports to customers, OEMs as per requirements
- Handling of Inspection instruments and gauges – Calo, XRF, Hardness Tester, Vernier etc.
- Perform Quality Control Inspections and Tests – Hardness, Adhesion, Coating Thickness etc.
- Conduct Process & Product Audits and report out the results
- Support QM in driving Continual Improvement Projects (3 in 1 projects, 1-1-1 improvements)
- Drive corrective and preventive actions for the Q issues and audit non-conformities
- Monitor the Q page information to meet with customer requirements
- Monitor calibration of MMDs and ensure compliance
- Conduct PQM on monthly basis to get reviewed the plant performance with management
- Update the necessary records such as Q deviation, claims data to Sharepoint for analysis
- Authorize to Block / Quarantine the batches / parts if Quality deviations observed and release based on decisions
Required education, experience, knowledge
- Diploma/Degree (Mechanical, Metallurgy) with minimum 4 plus years of experince into quality control preferably from Automotive industry
- Knowledge of Testing Equipment – Coating Thickness measurement, Hardness Tester, Adhesion Test
- Experience of Coating Industry
- Hand on experience in Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Must have experince of handling Audit 1SO 9000 & documentation.
- Quality Tools Knowledge
- Calibration of Instrument & Gauges
- Knowledge of Hardness Testing, Adhesion Test, Thickness Test
